Satya Yoga School
Where authenticity meets excellence
Why Satya Yoga?
At 'Satya Yoga School', everything we do is rooted in truthfulness and excellence. Our name itself, 'Satya', comes from one of the five Yamas described in the Eight Limbs of Yoga. It means 'truth' — not just in words, but in how we live, teach, and serve. For us, truth is a practice of authenticity, transparency, and alignment with one’s highest self.
We created Satya Yoga School to offer something often missing in both Western and Eastern yoga teacher trainings: a balance between traditional depth and modern precision.
Many yoga students journey to India in search of authenticity, only to return feeling disappointed by outdated structures or missing components — particularly in anatomy, alignment, and teaching methodology. On the other hand, many Western schools offer technical excellence but often lack spiritual depth and connection to yogic roots.
Our Vision: Bridging East and West with Integrity
This is why we founded Satya Yoga School: to combine the richness of Indian yogic tradition with the clarity and structure of Western education. Our programs honor the ancient teachings while integrating current understandings of the body, mind, and teaching practice.
We don’t cut corners. When we say 200 hours, we mean a full, immersive 200 hours of education — thoughtfully designed and delivered with care. Our commitment to quality means that every student receives more than just a certificate; they gain a comprehensive and practical toolbox to step into the world as confident, capable teachers.
Authentic Teachers, Real Experience
As a couple united by our shared passion for yoga, we bring complementary skills and perspectives to the table.
Together, we bring years of international teaching experience, a shared love for yogic tradition, and a dedication to helping students find their own voice as practitioners and teachers.
